The Invitations

 

Handmade with Love specialise in creating birthday invitations to complement the theme of your birthday celebration, whether it's a 21st, 30th, 40th, 50th, 60th or anything in between.

 

We are also able to design and produce menus, seating plans, name place cards, thank you cards and any other stationery you may require.

 

Consultations can be made made via e-mail or personal appointment in Durban Area.

 

We  will then make a mock-up invitation for your approval, together with cost per invitation.

 

Completion Time

 

Since each job is unique and all products are handmade, the cost is dependent on several factors - flowers, inks, glitter, etc.  As such, we don't have a standard list.

 

When we provide the quotation, we will also provide the estimated time required to complete the invitations.  The more intricate the design of your wedding invite, the longer it will take to manufacture.

 

We recommend orders to be placed timeously to avoid disappointment.

What is used to make up the cards:-

 

Paper

 

The paper we use ranges from plain card stock and patterned paper to luxury quality and beautifully textured handmade papers.  Inserts are printed on paper to match the card.

 

Ink

 

Printing methods are laser print.

Distress inks are used on edges of plain cardstock to give the vintage/distressed look.  Distress inks are used on the edges of flowers and leaves.

 

Embellishments

 

Asscessories include ribbons, charms, beads and rhinestones,  Flowers are individually handcrafted from dies.  Embossing is either wet or dry.
